Each condition was imaged at areas that contain more than 50 cells over two independent experiments. b, Time-course plot showing 7-cloaked eGFP-mRNA (~50% of 2′-hydroxyls acylated) translates in HeLa cells. Its translation kinetics were compared to unprotected or equimolarly 4-cloaked eGFP-mRNA. Data represent mean ± s.e.m., n = 3 per group from three biologically independent experiments.
