In surface waters at low latitudes, for example, the modelled PcSMR used to create Fig. 4c has a 95% CI range of 2.6 kPa (that is ± 1.3 kPa). For most of the metrics, the greatest variability is at higher temperatures where the underlying physiological measurements are higher and more variable and temperature sensitivities (E) are high.
