Additional information E.B. learned conservation biology from Eleanor while a student at Columbia University, and then learned so much more during 15 years of collaboration at the Center for Biodiversity and Conservation at the American Museum of Natural History. M.B. is a conservation biologist at the Center for Biodiversity and Conservation at the American Museum of Natural History. Eleanor was M.B.’s postdoctoral advisor and mentor, and then colleague and confidant for 13 years. G.C. is an ecologist at NYC Parks. Eleanor was her co-advisor for her PhD, mentor, colleague and friend for over 20 years.
