a) Possible landslide headscarp and deposit which are interpreted to have involved similar processes to those envisaged for the canyon-flank landslide seen in Fig. 2. b) Canyon-flank landslide appears to constrict the canyon floor leading to the development of a new thalweg channel due to enhanced turbidity current erosional capacity. Processes envisaged here are similar to those described in Figs. 4a, c1-c3.
