ICP4 marks viral pre-replication foci from incoming viral genomes. b, HFF cells were infected with WT HSV or ΔICP0 mutant virus at an MOI of 3 and immunofluorescence was examined at 8 hpi. ICP8 marks viral replication compartments and DAPI marks cellular DNA. Scale bar, 10 µm.
