The plot on the left illustrates the relationship between the power (y-axis) to accurately quantify narrow sense heritability (x-axis) for varying sampling sizes (from 300 to 2100). The plot on the right illustrates the same relationship but for presence/absence microbial traits, where the number of presence and absence individuals is balanced.
