a, Serial tenfold dilutions (10⁶-10³ PFU ml⁻¹) of M. amalyticus JR1 were spotted onto a lawn of G. pseudoamarae CON9^T grown on solid medium. Clearing of the CON9^T lawn is observed in regions where M. amalyticus is spotted. Full clearing is observed at 1×10⁷-10⁶ PFU ml⁻¹ whereas individual plaques are visible at lower concentrations (1×10⁴ PFU ml⁻¹).
