Ms + is a Malassezia sympodialis strain that harbours a dsRNA virus, and Ms- is a congenic virus-cleared strain69. Two biological replicates for all samples are shown and labelled (1) and (2). The TriDye 1 kb DNA ladder (NEB) was used to estimate RNA fragment sizes.
