Binding contacts between MarR receptors and indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) are shown, with orange residues from the primary monomer and purple from the secondary monomer. Electron density (green mesh, contoured at 3σ) is generated from simulated-annealing (Fo-Fc) omit maps. A water molecule is shown in a red sphere. Electron density (grey mesh, contoured at 3σ) for B. japonicum MarR_Bj1 was generated from a simulated-annealing (2Fo-Fc) composite omit map. PDB codes for all structures are shown in parentheses. The structure of R. pomeroyi MarR_3CDH was solved previously (see doi: 10.2210/pdb3cdh/pdb).
