Replication kinetics of S:EG.5.1 and S:B.1 (Left) or corresponding EG.5.1 clinical isolate (Right). The copy numbers of viral RNA in the culture supernatant of infected hBECs were determined by RT-qPCR at the indicated timepoints. Data are mean ± standard error to the mean (SEM) of three biological replicates. Statistical significance between S:B.1 (Left) or EG.5.1 clinical isolate (Right) and the spike recombinant virus across time points was determined by one-way ANOVA withmultiple comparisons between area under the curves using the Holm-Šídák post-hoc test. The calculated p-values are indicated in the figures.
