Liquid selection test tube experiment on M9, 80 mM formate, 100 mM HCO3 minimal media in 10% CO2 for creation of the CRG5 gP14-C1 (a) and CRG6 gP3-C3 strains (b). Following transposon integration of module 1 or module 3 of the rGlyP and upon reaching early stationary phase cells were re-inoculated into fresh formate media. Dots represent the measured glass tube OD600 values of two biological replicates per promoter operon transposon insertion. The lines correspond to their averages. 4 passages are depicted and are indicative of the improved growth over the 10 passages.
