The indicated Neisseria gonorrhoeae strains were grown in the presence of 5, 10, 25, or 50 µM of NQ, trans-Δ1-NQ, NQNO, or trans-Δ1-NQNO in PPM medium. Growth was monitored by OD550 readings every 30 min over the course of 10 h. Control cultures received solvent (1% DMSO) only.
