  1. aExperiments were performed in two batches. The first batch included groups 1–4. The second batch included groups 5 and 6. Ten animals were inoculated per group; the ones listed in the table are those that showed tumour growth and were included in the study. In batch 2, five additional animals were included in group 2 as controls, and the results were pooled.
