Figs (a) to (d) show the estimated values of θ, averaged over all 400 runs, before (blue squares) and after (red circles) applying error mitigation. Figs (a) and (b) ((c) and (d)) correspond to estimating θx and θy respectively with the optimal single(two)-copy measurement. Error bars are obtained using the bootstrapping technique and correspond to one standard deviation. All results shown are for decoherence parameter ϵ = 0.5 and are obtained on the F-IBM QS1 device. Each data point corresponds to the average of 400 individual experimental runs, each using 512 shots.
