  1. Latency (time to 20% of peak amplitude), peak amplitude and duration (time from 10–90% of integral) of thalamic excitatory postsynaptic currents (EPSCs) evoked by static gratings for each L4 neuron in Fig. 2 (n = 53). Quantification was performed on the average response to the spatial phase eliciting the largest amplitude for each neuron.
