a, DSC profiles of LUVs and RHP1- and RHP1,100-containing LUVs (POPE:POPG molar ratio, 3:1). LUVs were grown with RHP1 or RHP1,100 with a lipid-to-RHP molar ratio of 50:1 and a lipid concentration of 1 mg mL−1. The background signals of the buffer and the polymers were subtracted. No phase transition was observed for RHP itself.
