  1. The Somalogic platform was used to measure plasma levels of 4,789 proteins in 39,155 Icelandic individuals (described in the Methods). We used linear regression of log-transformed protein levels against SNP allele count to look for associations of FLT3 rs76428106-C with proteins, with correction for the first 10 principal components. Results that are presented are limited to those that passed the threshold for multiple testing (P = 0.05/4,789 = 1.04 × 10−5) and are shown without Bonferroni correction.
