From: Detection of a particle shower at the Glashow resonance with IceCube

  1. Expected event rates for the hadronic channel from the Glashow resonance decay using 4.6 years of data. The values of spectral index γastro and flux normalization Φastro are from refs. 2,21,55 (a recent update22 has slightly shifted the best-fit values of γastro and Φastro given in ref. 55; it is pending publication). The units of Φastro are 10−18 GeV−1 cm−2 s−1 sr−1.
