Panels a and b show the star-formation rate and stellar mass respectively as a function of time under the assumption of the continuity non-parametric SFH model20 (as an alternative to the double-power-law model used in the main analysis and shown in Fig. 3). Panels c and d again show the star-formation rate and stellar mass respectively as a function of time, this time assuming a top-hat SFH model. Consistent formation times are recovered using all three models.
