Blue and red lines denote differential travel times computed using the inverted models, and squares, circles, and triangles indicate the observations including error bars. Note that the SKS pick for S0976a is only predicted. Event picks are aligned by the observed S-P (panel A) and SS-PP (panel B) differential travel time. For the travel time calculations performed here, we always pick the first arrival. (c) P-to-s receiver function waveform (Ps RF) misfit.
