Metagenomic 16S sequencing of stool samples was performed at two time points before treatment (D4 and D5) as well as three time points after treatment (D6, D9, and D12). The sample D5 M36 had to be excluded from the analysis due to low sequencing depth. The mean abundance per day is the average across the ten mice sequenced. The raw microbiome composition data are included in Supplementary Data.
