  1. aSource position derived from a Spergel model fit to submm continuum emission in the uv-plane.
  2. bNumbers with four, three and two digits correspond to spectroscopic redshift, photometric redshift and infrared-to-radio photometric redshift derived from spectral energy distribution fitting57, respectively. For the photometric redshifts obtained from the COSMOS2020 catalogue, the redshifts corresponding to the 16th and 84th percentiles of the probability distribution are shown in subscript and superscript.
  3. cSources with a Spergel index ν of −0.3 are those in which we cannot accurately measure ν but can still measure q. In such cases, we fix ν to the median value of −0.3 during the Spergel profile fitting in the uv-plane. For the other sources in which the best-fit Spergel ν is listed without errors, the axis ratio q was measured by fixing ν to the best-fit value during the Spergel profile fitting.
