The inset shows the locations of the data and the used seismic lines. Upper limiting data points provide an upper bound on the past position of the RSL and lower limiting data points provide a lower bound. The plotted RSL data points are corrected for compaction, palaeotidal variability and non-GIA background basin subsidence, but retain a spatially variable GIA signal. Bathymetric data in the inset were downloaded from EMODnet (https://emodnet.ec.europa.eu/en/bathymetry). WGS1984 is the World Geodetic System.
