Olivine is quite rare in CE6 mare basalt. Only two in total of 163 CE6 mare basalt fragments surveyed were found to contain olivine hosting melt inclusions. These melt inclusions exhibit post-entrapment crystallisation as indicated by the presence of pyroxene and ilmenite. The host olivine is MgO-rich with forsterite (Fo) content of 45.0–61.6 atom% (Supplementary Data Table 3). The NanoSIMS analytical positions are labeled in Supplementary Fig. 1.
