BMDM expressing PLCδ-PH-GFP (cell membrane, green) were grown in suspension on PLL-g-PEG passivated glass and pyroptosis was activated (LPS plus nigericin). Maximum intensity projections time-series of BMDM clusters labelled with cell membrane PLCδ-PH-GFP (green) and F-actin (SiR-actin, magenta). Upon induction of pyroptosis, cell membrane rupture occurs as observed by the loss of green signal (cell membrane PLCδ-PH-GFP, 8 min) and increased positive staining for F-actin (SiR-actin, magenta, 18 min).
