  1. Strategy 1: in-store education only; Strategy 2: in-store education plus online training and tools. A mixed model for repeated measures was used to model each outcome, controlling for age group, sex, household size, race, income and baseline body mass index. Contrasts (with two-sided t-tests) were used to estimate differences between treatment groups for 3- and 6-month changes from baseline. Intervention effect is mean change in outcome and 95% CI. No adjustments for multiple comparison were made. These criteria apply also to Tables 3 and 4.
