Subgroup analyses were performed by fitting linear regression models with tests for interaction between these variables and study groups to the data. All tests were two-sided, and p values were not adjusted for multiple comparisons. Number of patients refers to ‘n (lifestyle intervention)/n (usual care)’ for each subgroup.
