Independent t-tests were used for between-subject comparisons; paired t-tests for within-subject comparisons. Box plot elements: Box spans the interquartile range (IQR) (25th–75th percentile), central line is the median (50th percentile), ‘+’ marks the mean, whiskers extend to the lowest and highest values within 1.5 × IQR of the box, and values beyond that range are shown individually.
