The Editors would like to alert the readers that concerns have been raised regarding some of the data presented in the figures of this article, specifically:

Fig. 1a: MM-001 and MM-003 appear to overlap with different brightness and magnification.

Fig. 2a: WT MM.1S Nucleus p84 blot appears highly similar to Supplementary Fig. 3b Nucleolin (flipped horizontally).

Fig. 2b: JJN-3 Nucleus Histone H3 blot appears highly similar to Fig. 5a MM.1S GAPDH lanes 1 and 2.

Supplementary Fig. 3d: empty blots appear to have the same background noise.

The authors have stated that the Supplementary Fig. 3b nucleolin blot was mislabeled and represents p84, but have been unable to address the other concerns as the original data are no longer available due to the age of the article. Readers are therefore advised to interpret these data with caution.
