(B) The axial localization precisions as calculated as described in Methods based on background, axial position and photon emitted from each localized single molecule for Fig. 1N. The calculations for (C) lateral and (D) axial localizations precisions for Fig. 2. Note that these axial precision measures correspond well (after converting into FWHM values) with FWHM of line profiles through thin filaments shown in Supplementary Figure 9.
