The process relies on the hypothesis that HetSIREN and CryoDRGN have found the same distribution of conformational states. From this assumption, it is possible to determine the threshold verifying the hypothesis (which corresponds to a P value of 0.05 from the one-sided test), allowing one to obtain a significant consensus space with a more accurate and reliable distribution of states.
