Total number of items with nonzero capacity (upper), and total capacity (lower), at various stages of merging/inference. On the left we start with OSM metadata, then merge in REPD capacities to fill in missing values. For items with surface area but unknown capacity, we then perform inference using the relationship shown in Fig. 6. Finally we make a heuristic constant estimate for the remainder of single-point items.
