Segregation of habitat groupings within Major Environmental Unit E2 by factor analysis classification following the same procedure on single-log (left) and double-log (right) transformation of predicted abundance from habitat suitability models. Plots were based on a random sample of 20,000 pixels for visualisation. The colours represent the four habitat complexes into which E2 pixels were classified. The x and y axes represent the habitat suitability values for six randomly chosen taxa. Results for all Major Environmental Units and any combination of taxa reflect similar differences between the coherence of the classification between the single- and double-logged data.
