(C) Amperometric data for low concentration IFNγ assay using Log1.5 analyte dilutions. (D) Colorimetric verification of the experimental results shown in (C). Although the colorimetric system demonstrates a LoD of 35 pg/mL for the specific experiment, the amperometric LoD is significantly lower at ~10 pg/mL. Judging from the obtained current ranges and given the characteristics of the bioinstrumentation board, these measurements predict that the LoD could potentially reduce even more in the final optimised system.
