(c) In the food-sharing experiment the males shared a larger proportion of W after the female had been pre-fed M (dark grey bar), compared to after she had been pre-fed W (light grey bar). This pattern of sharing was similar across both the seen and the unseen conditions. (d) During the food-sharing experiment the males shared more items if females were incubating than if they were not.
