IgM immunoblotting. Leptospiral whole cell lysate derived from serovars Shermani and Canicola as well as the extracted LPS were resolved by 12% SDS-PAGE in lanes #1, #2 and #3, respectively. After blotting, the membrane was incubated with serum from non-leptospirosis (NL) or leptospirosis (L) patient, and then with rabbit anti-human IgM conjugated with horseradish peroxidase. The immunoreactive bands were visualized using 3,3′-diaminobenzidine (DAB).
