The stability and reproducibility of LEPkit. (A) Weakly (W) positive LEPkit test using serum from a leptospirosis patient with the admission-phase MAT titer <1:400 showed a faint T-band. (B) Strongly (S) positive LEPkit test using serum from a leptospirosis patient with the admission-phase MAT titer ≥ 1:400 showed an intense T-band. The test was performed using individual LEPkits that were stored at room temperature for 18, 15, 12, 9, 6, and 3 months. C = Controlled line, T = Tested line.
