Amplicon design. In the current study, we have analysed one fragment including five SNPs in pfdhfr, three fragments including four SNPs in pfmdr1, one fragment including five SNPs in pfcrt, two fragments including six SNPs in pfdhps, all of pfK13, and three fragments including five SNPs in the mitochondrial genome of P. falciparum. The figure illustrates the length and placement of the fragments in the different genes, as well as the nucleotide/codon positions of the SNPs of interest.
