Pharmacokinetic evaluation of mouse plasma Ex-4 levels after the implantation of micro-osmotic pumps. The time dependent plasma concentrations of Ex-4 indicate a biphasic response, initially peaking at 40 hours and then at 80 hours and 7 days after micro-osmotic pump implantation. The plasma concentration (pg/ml) is indicated on the y axis (Log 10) and the sample time points after pump implantation are shown on the × axis (hours). The values are mean ± s.e.m. of n observations where n = the numbers of mice; in the present study n = 4.
