Despite the volume of magma considered, the model predicts that the drainage of the volume stored in the reservoir always follows the same exponential discharge trend. The largest decompression rate coincides with the inflection point (black dot) of the discharge trends, which indicates that 98% of the magma volume is drained out of the reservoir in the first 3 days of the effusive eruption (equation (10)).
