A series of data points corresponding to minimum fringe frequencies (MFFs) are plotted. The 33 yellow circles labelled ‘Spectrogram’ were obtained via FFT, while the blue circles labelled ‘Simplified analysis’ were obtained via the differentiation of the spectrum (b–d).
