The red and the blue bars show higher or lower levels of methylation relative to the control individuals in the stressed embryonic (E), post-hatch (PH) and embryonic and post-hatch (EPH) groups. The bars indicated by dark arrows are significantly hyper-methylated regions. The green peaks and valleys are log2 fold-change differences in gene expression. The red arrows show genes that have been regulated differently compared to the un-stressed individuals.
