HDNetDB workflow. HDNetDB retrieves the physical and regulatory interactions found for the queried genes or proteins, and generates a network. This is visualized by larger grey and smaller yellow nodes representing the input/query and interacting proteins, while red arrows and blue edges represent regulatory and protein-protein interactions, respectively. Subsequently, the network can be examined and filtered using various complementary datasets and tools integrated in HDNetDB.
