(B) Optical image and MSI result of different amounts (from 2.6 pmol to 80.4 pmol) of [PC(24:0)+K]+ (m/z 600.4001) spotted (1 μL) on a rat brain tissue section. (C) Standard curve by plotting the amounts of each spot against the average intensities of m/z 600.4001 each spot. Error bars represent the standard deviation of the intensity of m/z 600.4001 from about 130 mass spectra in each spot.
