Schematic description of eIF2α signaling regulates ONFH. Ischemia is an inducer of the ER stress in the surgery-induced rat ONFH model. Salubrinal promoted osteoblastogenesis, suppressed osteoclastogenesis, and stimulated angiogenesis by elevating the level of p-eIF2α through suppressing ER stress signaling in ONFH.
