The transcriptional response elicited by caspofungin is regulated by the CWI and cAMP/PKA pathways. mRNA levels of several Slt2-dependent (a) and Slt2-independent (b) genes were analyzed by RT-qPCR in the indicated strains after 2 h of CAS treatment. Values represent the expression ratio between CAS-treated and non-treated cells. The mean and SD of at least three independent experiments are shown.
