From: Aggregated transthyretin is specifically packaged into placental nano-vesicles in preeclampsia
Levels of total aggregated protein in placental extracellular vesicles determined by ProteoStat Assay. The levels of total aggregated protein in macro-, micro- and nano- vesicles extruded from control and preeclamptic placentae were measured by a fluorometric ProteoStat® assay. Having normalised to the amount of protein loaded, unpaired t-tests were performed to investigate statistical differences between the levels of aggregated protein present in each fraction of extracellular vesicles from control and preeclamptic placentae (**p < 0.001, *p < 0.05). Data is plotted as box-whisker plots showing the median, interquartile range (box) and maximum/minimum (whiskers).
