In each matrix plant species (rows) were ranked by decreasing dependence on pollinators (IPD). As the extinction cascade goes on plant survival probabilities decrease, but plants with low dependencies on pollinators to set seeds (IPD → 0) tend to be more persistent that plants with a high dependence (IPD → 1) on pollinators.
