LXA4 inhibits the expression of the proteins related to RAGE and TLR4 signaling in keratinocytes. NHEKs were treated with LPS (10 μg/ml) for 24 hours with and without preincubation with LXA4 (100 nmol/l) for 30 minutes. Protein levels of RAGE (A,B), TLR4 (D,E), ERK1/2 and p-ERK1/2 (G,H), and nuclear NF-κB p65 (I,J) were analyzed by western blotting. Full-length blots are presented in Suppl. Figures S8–S11. mRNA levels of RAGE (C) and TLR4 (F) were analyzed by PCR. The results are shown as the mean ± SD. **p < 0.01 and *p < 0.05, compared to NHEKs treated with LPS without LXA4. All experiments were conducted thrice, and the representative results are shown.
