(b) Effect of IFN-γ (300 and 600 ng/ml), LPS (10 µg/ml) and indoxyl sulfate (IS) (1 and 2 mM) on HLA class I expression in ciPTEC-U and -T1. Treatments were performed for 48 h prior to flow cytometric measurements. (c) Effect of conditioned medium derived from resting (PBMC-CM) and aCD3/aCD28 activated (activated PBMC-CM) PBMC on the expression of HLA class I after 48 h exposure.
